Cairo Films Productions presents the graduation short film for the class of 2021, “Ntombikayise”. Our protagonist follows a journey that is fueled by avenging her family's passing, justice and protecting her father’s legacy. Our films highlights the violent nature of the taxi industry as it is the premise of our narrative, it also take a jab at the lack of representation of women in the taxi industry and male dominance in industries that are formally known to employ or are ran by men.

Even though Ntombikayise is a South African action drama film, it speaks on gender inequalities and further expands on this social issue at a global scale, lastly we pride ourselves in producing a film during the covid-19 pandemic with all the current restrictions in place.
