As the co-director of the film “Ntombikayise” this has been a project that we have worked on obsessively with efforts to achieve perfection with the film. We have learnt that sometimes not everything goes your way or how you had hoped it goes and you must always be ready to maneuver and make changes at any time, when necessary of course. 

We believe this film has a powerful message because our protagonist is a victim of  misogyny in the story as she battles with the gender politics within the taxi industry. She is not entirely accepted within the industry because she is a woman and she is seen as a threat that needs to be stopped. 

This film caters to women in the positions of power but are constantly battling discrimination of being women and that they are not deserving of high positions in industries
